Guitar Duo Eclectico is Steve Mazurowski and George Sawyn. We both play the basic, ordinary nylon-string classical guitar. Our songlist is rather diverse; it ranges from Bach and Vivaldi to Miles Davis to Jimi Hendrix to the Police. It isn't some concious attempt to be "eclectic"; we just like all of this stuff and enjoy playing it. Our performances are very improvisational and interactive; there is a lot of individual risk-taking, but there is also a lot of listening and co-operation; if one of us goes out on a limb, the other tries to go along with it and see what we can make of it. If you haven't heard GDE live yet, we invite you to come check it out. If you want to sip your coffee & have some "nice acoustic guitar music in the background," you'll like it.
